• Question: we have medicine to make us better, but there are alot of side effects to it.How is this curing us?

      That’s a good point. Unfortunately there’s side effects to every medicine, even things like aspirin that you can get in the supermarket. The idea is that the medicine fixes the disease and the side effects are small enough so you don’t notice them, or are not as bad as the disease itself. We have to work really hard to make sure that the amount of drug in your system is regulated over time to minimise side effects, and for this you can get things like time release pills or drips. But sometimes the side effects can be good! Viagra was originally designed as a baldness cure, and what people take it for now was a side effect!
