        Oh sadly no! The only celebrity that I met was Brian Cox. He is the physicist that is always on the TV. I thought that was pretty cool, but he’s no Beyonce!

        I bumped into Heinz Wolf once, and he asked to borrow some silver nitrate off me! That is the height of my celebrity scientist fame. Met Jeremy Paxman on University Challenge.

        I was able to meet Steve Backshall last year, he came to visit us in our department. Steve gave a great talk about his work, and we had a session after where we could all chat to him.

        I have met John Hardy. He came up with the Amyloid hypothesis about how Alzheimer’s disease is formed. No one else sadly but I hope I do get to meet some more celebrities in the future!
