Hi Ellie. I guess you mean the other scientists in this zone. I haven’t met any of them before, but hopefully will get to know them a bit over the next 2 weeks.

Hello Ellie. Like Stuart has said, we haven’t met before but I am sure we will have some differences in opinion! In science it is very common for people to disagree on things, but I think that’s what makes science exciting because it means you can go out and figure stuff out to disprove someone else’s opinion.

Hi Ellie! Nope, haven’t met these guys yet (in person). I think it’s important to talk /argue about different opinions though, it’s the foundation of science. It’s only when you start really critically thinking about things that you can get to the bottom of how the world ticks – otherwise we’d just be taking people’s word for it and we’d still be in the dark ages!

        Hi Ellie,

We haven’t met each other in person! But this is one of the exciting things about science, you get to meet lots of interesting people and make new collaborations and connections! When people have different backgrounds, knowledge and opinions, this helps you to challenge your own opinions and learn new things!
