      Nicola – it’s a weaving shuttle – I wind wool onto it and then make stuff on a loom. Now you mention it, it does look a bit like a stake 🙂 but the ends aren’t sharp!
      The organisers said that we should put a “friendly” picture in our profiles, and this was the only one where I was smiling. (And a smiley picture means that you can see that Eva doesn’t have pointy teeth)
