      That’s a great question.
      Some questions in science involve looking at cells and organs in action. Sometimes in order to find cures for diseases that might be too risky to begin with for humans, we have to try them on animals. However, in the lab you always opt for the optimal option, which involves the minimum hurt to the animal. Also, if a certain question can be answered in any other way, not involving animals, this way will always be prefered.
