      That’s a brilliant question. Many philosophers tried to answer it. The truth is that it is quite hard to pinpoint what it exactly is. But we might say that it’s the stuff outside of us that exists no matter if we perceive it or not. But it’s just a stab in the dark. But it’s a great question and part of science is indeed try to actually tackle those VERY hard questions.
