Question: how does a tree grow from a seed

So a seed kind of sprouts through germination (get your mum to buy some cress seeds and see it in action!) and these grow little roots. Trees are obviously biiggg, but they are also really old so they have taken years and years to grow but its all about cycles of absorbing energy from the sun, converting that to energy and growing
