      Good question. I actually faced quite a challenge when starting my PhD last September. I went from a background in physics and astronomy to a PhD doing biology and lab-work. Quite a jump from looking up through a telescope to down through a microscope! I had a lot to catch up on, but I finally think that I am there and I have a lot of people to thank for helping me.
