      It depends on what you mean by science! If you mean humans doing experiments then it has probably existed since the first human-type creature, maybe 200,000 years ago ! Humans back then would have naturally tested things without even realising then were doing what we call ‘science’. Any form of testing something and seeing what the result is counts as science, so it’s pretty ancient.
