Peeing in space is really difficult! Because there is no gravity, everything floats around. So, you need to use special equipment to go to the toilet in space. There are astronauts in space right now who are flying around the Earth in a small spaceship called the International Space Station (or ISS for short). They have made a video explaining exactly how they use the toilet in space:

      It’s definitely worth watching!

If you can’t watch the video, the astronauts use a hose pipe that is connected to a fan. The fan stops the pee going everywhere by pulling it down into the hose pipe. The pee is then cleaned by special machines so that the astronauts can then use their pee as drinking water!
