I’ll be honest, there are times as a scientist doing experiments when something that you have worked very hard on goes wrong and you feel like giving up. But it is important not to give up and to realise that this is normal in science – and that experiments don’t always work the first time around. That is why to work in science it is important that you have a huge interest and dedication to the subject you are working in. This will help you to carry on with your work and not give up, no matter what happens along the way!
