Yes, no matter what people from many different jobs and fields say, science can be very frustrating. In my current field, mainly biology and lab work, things don’t always go to plan. Experiments can stop working for no apparent reason, things can get contaminated by pesky bacteria and equipment can break just before you want to use it. But the important thing is that you don’t let one thing going wrong get to you and stop your progress. You need to hold your head up high with determination and figure out what didn’t work and why, and eventually you will get the results you’re looking for!
