I would love to become an astronaut, I’m just not a big fan of flying and I don’t like heights.

I would be too scared to be an astronaut! I like to be on earth with oxygen, and a protective earth’s atmosphere, normal gravity and a ground to stand on! Also, I’m more interested in whats happening on earth than what’s happening out in space. I wouldn’t be a good candidate in that sense!

To become an astronaut though (if you are interested!) you can look at the NASA website. There are apparently more than one type of astronaut!

I was never clever or brave enough to be an astronaut. It is actually a really dangerous profession and you have to be tremendously clever to be able to do all the training (including learning Russian). I dream about it but don’t think I can make it happen for me. If you want to be one then go for it!

Actually I really wanted to be an astronaut when I was young. I gave up on that dream when I saw that it took a long long time to get to space and back to Earth!

I get travel sick and am not a big fan of sitting in a seat for a long time. I think I would also miss the diverse range of company that I get on earth. So not a good choice for me – I would probably not be the favorite person with my fellow astronauts if I did decide to give it a go – but as I imagine there are a lot of keen candidates I don’t think I need to worry too much 🙂
