• Question: What is a Associate Scientist/ what do they do?

      An associate scientist is a resaercher. So my job is as a formulation scientist in inhaled development working on new inhaler-able drugs. So I work in a large team who help make the drug that the chemists have invented work in the inhaler. So we must try and make sure the drug is stable in the inhaler and the correct amount of drug is delivered to the target in the body in a safe combination of other ingredients. It is unbelievably similar to baking a cake and we use a lot of the same words and machines that look similar to those in a bakery believe it or not.
