I like to do something different every day – which is a good job because you never know when there will be a food incident or when something happens within the food system which makes the Organisational priorities change.
That said, in my team I have some people who are real experts at managing the Agency’s data and databases. These guys do come in and do the same thing (or very similar) every day – they are fantastic at their jobs and it suits their preferred ways of working. I guess you could say the same for government vets working in abattoirs. Diversity of preference seems important!
