So far, astronomers have discovered over 500 solar systems and are constantly discovering new ones. But they predict that there may be tens of billions of solar systems in our galaxy (Milky Way). Whats even more remarakable is that these solar systems have only been discovered in the last 10 years, with the recent advances in telescopes and other methodologies.

What would I call a new solar system? Probably Wadders, as that is my nickname! The Wadders System – is that catchy?

There are probably an infinite number of solar systems out there! As there must be loads, I think everyone could name one after themselves and there would be many more solar systems to spare!

I would probably be really boring and name it Dawn with some random numbers attached to it.

Wow, who would have thought there could be so many. You will probably guess that I am the least likely to have one named after me. But in that impossible situation I would probably crowdsourced names!
