      Yes these treatments successfully cure cancer because after the treatment no cancer is detected. But because of how cancer is, in some cases, there may be tiny cancer cells that are undetectable left in the body. Over time these undetectable cells may cause the cancer to return. Cancers are considered “cured” when there is no cancer detected in the body for five years. If the cancer comes back the person can still be cured a second time.
