I like that I get alot of freedom in my work. I am mainly interested in one area of science (solid things and magnets), but I can investigate almost anything I want within that area. The feeling of knowing something that nobody else in the world knows is also pretty good.

The pace and variety of the job. I have worked across many different disciplines (dental, archaeology, optomology, microbiology) using the techniques I have built up, so I am constantly learning new things
