      That is a very good question, we don’t normally talk about the temperature of our particles and I had to just do a sum to work out what it would be. It turns out that our protons are at about 100, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000 C (10^17C). Instead we use a unit called electron volts (or Mega electron volts which is a million of them). They are a much nicer number in this unit – 800 Mega electron volts.
