I find out new things everyday, but not all to do with science. Every time I teach I learn something new from the students; what they like, what they don’t like, what works as a teaching style and what doesn’t, in that sense I’m constantly changing as a teacher. In terms of research, I also find out new things, most of the experiments and tests I do at first prove to me that my initial ideas were wrong. Science is about constantly learning new things, and changing what you have done based on your mistakes.
An interesting fact…. the ‘twin paradox’ if you leave a twin on the earth and go off travelling at even half the speed of light, when you return your twin will be either much older than you or dead (depending on how long you have been gone for).
