• Question: Why do we have night and day, why not just one or the other ???

      @879tntd28 this depends on the rotation of the Earth on its axis. We live in a region that is between the North Pole and the Equator so we get periods of proper sunlight and periods of darkness depending on this rotation and on the position of the sun and the moon. Some countries located very up north or down south, close to the poles, can get very long periods of darkness or light (up to 24 hours long), depending on how the Earth is tilted with respect to its axis…fascinating isn’t it?
