• Question: How could the "Big Crunch" Happen?

      Hi,

      I don’t think I am the best scientist to help you with this question out of our pannel – Try Monique I think she works with Astrology/Physics?

      I’ll give it a go though, I think the big crunch is the scenario whereby the universe collapses on itself. This could happen if the gravity from all of the mass in the universe overcame the forces expanding it I guess. Although, I think the currently more accepted theory is the ‘big freeze’.

      Again, way out of my area I am afraid so this might have mistakes in it.
