Question: Could we one day make indestructible cards without making them very heavy?

Nothing is indestructible if you hit it hard enough. Cars nowadays are the safest they have ever been, but that just makes people want to drive faster and take more risks. We are working on trying to keep the same level of safety whilst making the car lighter, but a lot of weight actually comes from all the padding inside to keep you comfortable, reduce noise etc.

I think the best thing for car safety and fuel economy is self-driving cars as this will reduce the amount of accidents and traffic jams. We also need to develop a more environmentally friendly way of powering cars. Even the current hybrid and electrical cars have a big impact on the environment due to the amount of material that has to be moved around the world to make the batteries etc.
