      I think that what I do is very important for the planet. Paints used to be made using some chemicals that were bad for the environment. They are now made using water instead of these chemicals, and that is because of research like mine.

      I hope that making better paints can protect the materials they are put on (such as metal) and stop them from corroding and rusting so much. If we can do this, then we don’t have to make as much and this is much better for the environment.

      I hope what I do helps. Unfortunately scientists can make things but we need other people to use them; sometimes that means changing how we do something and lots of people don’t like that.
      But still yes, I think what I do can help.

      I hope I’m making a difference though I do feel that it is a slow process and it would be great if we had more support from governments.
