Because I have spent a lot of time turning wheat and rice to powder I’m now allergic to both of them. I can still eat them without any side affects (though rice cakes make me sneeze) but if I’m working with the powder I need to make sure I wear a mask and wash any powder off my face and hands otherwise I feel and look like I’m getting a cold.

I get hay fever quite badly in the summer which is caused by plants releasing pollen.
At the moment I don’t react to the plant I work with (fingers crossed it’s going to stay that way!) but some of my work friends have the same problem Caragh has, they’ve worked with their plants for long enough that they are now allergic to what they work with which can make things difficult!
