Question: What is the coolest peice of technology that you have ever used?

It’s got to be a neutron beam line – literally a highly concentrated, high powered beam of subatomic particles.
I got the opportunity to have an industrial placement at a research facility in Switzerland and part of my research involved neutron radiography to view the internal structure of a sample – similar to a hospital x-ray, except with neutrons and way cooler 🙂
