I don’t want to win. This is fun and educational, just participating. (A lot of science is like this —fun, educational, poorly paid.)

Good question, Im not sure, i think you should try to do your best at things-This is the first competition I’ve entered so it would be nice but the point is to get you thinking (and hopefully asking) about science!

When I signed up I didn’t even think of it as a competition. I just wanted to take part so that I could have fun get experience telling non-scientists about my work.

But….. now I really do want to win hehe 😉 because I really need the money to spend on the science communication stall I want to take to science and music festivals around the UK. http://www.eggandspermrace.com

I think the resource I have in mind will be beneficial to students. A lot of the questions we’ve received during this competition indicate that some of the students are considering a future in science, but are unsure; perhaps the resource will provide them with some insight and help them to make up their mind. Overall, I’m just enjoying participating in the competition; its a great experience!
