Interesting question. There are 2 ways I can interpret “like” in your questions. Sometimes, people just aren’t in the mood to eat; this could be due to physiological reasons (perhaps they’re unwell and feel as though they physically can’t eat or keep anything down) or to psychological reasons (for personal reasons, you just don’t want to eat). The other way to interpret it is that some people suffer from an intolerance or allergy to certain types of food, for instance to nuts, lactose or gluten. The way that their bodies react to these foods would definately be a reason to dislike them!
Whether or not we like food can be to do with with how we associate it, like our experience of that food, or it can sometimes be physiological (how your bodys made up). Your tongue is covered with thousands of taste buds that detect sour, bitter or salty or sweet tastes, since everyone will have different proportions of these-everyone’s taste will be slightly different.
Your taste also changes as you get older, they tend to be less sensitive and not as many, which would explain why my mum can eat really hot curries and I can’t!!
