I grew up in a town called Nailsea in North Somerset, which is just down the road from Bristol where I was born.

Nailsea was a good town to grow up in because it’s safe and quiet. It’s near the countryside, but also quite near the sea so that was good. When I got to about 13/14 I started to find it a bit boring though, not much to do, so then me and my friends used to catch the bus into Bristol on the weekends instead.

I love Bristol, I think it’s one of the best cities in the UK. Lots going on, and very pretty in places. Bristolian people are also really friendly and down-to-earth. I like hearing the accent when I’m in Edinburgh (where I live now) because it reminds me of home and my family 🙂

I’m from Massachusetts. I liked it a lot and would return there if I got a good job. Boston is one of about 2 cities in the USA (besides San Francisco) that has many nice qualities of better cities in Europe: active, diverse, historical, cultured, educated, clean, moderately sized etc. Massachusetts has 4 complete, distinct seasons every year.
