      hehe, i think we’re all supposed to say….WHY, best scientific word.ever.

      also, i like saying “biophysicist” its where engineering meets biology basically, but good word

      Osmium – it is a metal that I use a lot in my reactions. I love how the words sounds and I suspect I have taken the advice ‘love your work’ a little too seriously!

      I like “abelian” because it sounds like some exotic religion or philosophy but it just means that multiplying x times y is the same as y times x. (This is always true when x and y are numbers, but they could be something that makes it not true.)

      I quite like ‘myometrium’ it just rolls off the tongue! It’s the muscle layer of the uterus (womb) that contracts during labour.

      The cells I work on are called ‘myometrial myocytes’, and I like saying that 🙂
