Hey langford, thanks for the question.

The activity stall I want to spend the money on is going to educate people about reproductive biology and the importance of sexual health.

We’ll have these sorts of activities:

      * SPERM WARS – A giant model of the female reproductive tract (vagina, cervix, womb, fallopian tubes, ovaries) with a toy train track twisting round the inside, and battery trains in the shape of sperm that people can race! The sperm that wins is the one that reaches the egg first. This is so we can show people how difficult it is to get to the egg. In fact, here’s a game you can play to illustrate this: http://eggandspermrace.com/play/

      * CELEBRITY BABIES – Using genetic codes, people can work out how the babies of celebrity couples might look

      * PROCREATIVE PINATA – People hit a giant egg-shaped pinata (like a papier mache sphere) with sticks with sperm toys stuck on the end until jelly babies come out. This is to show people how much bigger an egg cell is than a sperm cell (but it’s mainly for fun!)

      * We’re also going to be telling people about the health problems associated with Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs) like Chlamydia, and handing out free condoms and free home chlamydia tests to help stop the spread of STDs.

It’s going to be fun, but it should also educate people, and hopefully improve their sexual health, so it would be great if I could get the money to help launch it.

Here’s our website if you’d like some more information: http://www.eggandspermrace.com
