• Question: what do you think the most interesting thing is about the human body ?

      I think that bodies (human or animal) are interesting in general. When you start to wonder how they work it’s amazing! All the different parts interact, they don’t tend to work on their own.

      It’s difficult to pick a *most* interesting part, but obviously I’m most interested in the reproductive system 🙂

      From start to finish it’s amazing. How sperm and egg cells are made, how they get to meet, how a fertilised egg implants in the womb, how a baby grows from just one cell, how the placenta forms to support the baby’s nutritional needs, how the baby develops, how it’s born (that’s the bit I’m most interested in!), and then all the other interesting things like how mums start producing milk to feed their babies, how periods happen, and how a woman’s supply of eggs dwindles so they go through the menopause – it’s all so complex and intriguing!
