      It’s at least as hard as biology because meteorology also involves very complicated systems, perhaps millions of variables and too complicated to write down a useful explicit solution unless many simplifications are assumed. For example: a single-celled spherical rigid animal (virus maybe); or the weather on a flat, infinite, non-rotating world with no water or dust. I think meteorology is harder because biologists can do many more kinds of better controlled experiments than we can.
