      I’m fine thanks 🙂 I agree, it’s always nice to start with some good manners. Would you care for a cup of tea? What’s that? I can’t hear you so I’ll assume you said no…

      To answer your question, I’m interested in pregnancy because it’s a pretty amazing thing when you think about it. A whole new human being developing from one tiny fertilised egg inside another human being for 9 months. It’s got to be one of the weirdest things the human body can do, but it’s also one of the most complex, and the hardest to understand.

      Really my work focusses on the end of pregnancy when the baby comes out, so I guess labour is my favourite part. I also think that’s one of the most amazing things about pregnancy – what triggers labour to start. That’s why I’m working on it!

      I’m glad you’re interested in my work, and I’m also glad you’re a fan of squirrels, me too, on both counts.
