• Question: does your work involve old people as well as young ? x

      Well my work doesn’t really ‘involve’ young people or old people. I’m researching child birth, and that affects everyone of all ages, but I guess pregnant women and babies are most affected.

      In our lab we sometimes use tissue samples taken from older women who’ve had a hysterectomy, which is an operation to remove the uterus (womb).
