      I realised I enjoyed it when I actually paid attention in science class and didn’t mind doing the homework – all other lessons I avoided both.

      I always wanted to know how things worked, even when I was really little. So I liked science because it explained how loads of things work. So I guess I could say that I liked it from the start.

      I’m not sure really, I think I was always quite curious about how stuff worked. I think it was a little bit later on, say maybe around end of GCSE/start of A-level time, when I started learning bits about astrophysics and quantum physics that I became really passionate about science.

      For me it was all the cool experiments that we did at the very start of secondary school, I still remember the awesome newspaper bridge I made.
