      It’s about 2/3 the size of our moon. There’s been lots of arguments about whether Pluto is a planet or not, because it’s so small. In 2008 a group of expert scientists got together to thrash out the arguments and in the end decided it wasn’t a planet.

      Small! Not even the biggest of the objects that float around in the area of the solar system called the Kuiper belt. Pluto was essentially a political planet as it was the only planet to be discovered by an American astronomer. I agree with the 2008 ruling that it is not a planet, it is just a rock from the Kuiper belt.
