I started working on the experiment I am currently on in 2005 and it is thought that the experiment will last until at least 2018 so I am not yet half way through. We have suffered some set backs recently with the major earthquake that hit Japan in March, but we all still soldier on. I hope to still be a part of the experiment when is finally switches off.

      Hi kunjanddonal,

I have had times where we realised we were not going to solve a problem in one particular way(which was really annoying as we had spent 3 months trying to), and we had to change our approach and start again, but that’s all part of science. In the end we solved the problem and got the results that we wanted

Yeah, we’ve had to turn back many times to try a new approach, but never quit 🙂
