  They are my favourite shelled amphibian, much better than puny terrapins. I have never seen them in the wild but would love to see one of the annual migrations in which thousands of turtles come ashore to lay eggs in the sand.

  I was about to say that turtles were faster cause you could take them on planes which go at 600mph but then I looked up ThrustSSC and it goes faster at over 700, so my argument backfired! Its just true that sportscars are cooler!!
