      Hi again Zaina,

I love the fact that my job is really varied, and that I’m constantly looking at lots of different interesting things. I also like the fact that it is important work with results that make a difference to our lives.
I don’t like it so much when experiments are really complicated and there are lots of chances of making mistakes and not getting an answer because it’s too hard.
How about you? What do you like most and least about doing science?

I like the fact that I can choose my own hours! As long as I get all my work done by the end of the week then it doesn’t matter what time I come to work. I don’t think I could cope with getting in for 9am every morning!
I don’t like it when things don’t work & I can’t understand why. Usually it’s a technical problem with something we are using, but it takes a lot of time & effort to work it out.

I love the fact its really varied and intersting and I learn lots of new things. I don’t like the fact its not very secure – the longest funding I’ve had was for 3 years. So next year I got to find more funding or I’m out of a job!
