• Question: Are zebra's black with white stripes or white with black stripes?

      Another clasic question. I think it used to be thought that zebra’s a white with black stripes, but I think there is now more evidence from embryonic reserach that the default colour is black and the white stripes (and underbelly) arise making it black with white stripes.

      Yup, it’s black with white stripes… and the stripes exist to scare away blood sucking flies!
