      it can be due to a number of reasons, sometime when a foetus is developing the genes don’t form the standard patterns and build the body in the correct way. This may mean the brain develops in a different way than it should. Sometimes it can be due to complications at birth as well, a lack of oxygen in the very early stages of a childs life can cause problems too.
