It may be annoying (especially when someone does it on you or your food!!) but it’s very important! It’s the bodies’ way of cleaning out all the passages used for breathing. Germs and bacteria can build up in your nose and throat, and they may not be cleared but heavy breathing alone. A sneeze travels through both your nose and mouth at over 100mph!! it cleans out any potential harmful things from your respiratory tract (throat, nose and mouth) and usually deposits them all over your keyboard!!
I’m not sure if this is the case for anyone else but looking at very bright lights makes me sneeze almost every time!! Guess I’m not destined to be a superstar!! I’d be covering the front row of the audience!!

I don’t know the answer to that, but I would also like to know! Like Stuart, looking into bright light the first thing in the morning makes me sneeze, so does a having a mint. Light makes me sneeze twice, and mints make me sneeze three times! No idea why.
