• Question: Why did you used to try to get out of P.E. at school, considering your job is now to do with sport? What made your mind/attitude change?

Hi, I think that I became more interested in sport as I got older. At school I was more interested in boys and going shopping with my friends. Also, when I was about 13 I broke my arm doing the hurdles, and after a summer in a plastercast, somehow I never felt like doing sport when I went back to school. Thinking back, I think I might have been a bit scared of breaking my arm again.

My mind changed when I started studying psychology, and I realised I wanted to study sport psychology – get inside the mind of champions, so I can help other people be successful and reach their goals too.
