      Yes, that’s the type of thing I would need to google too. I specialise mostly in psychology – so the way the mind works – rather than physical issues.

      My recollection of this is that it is a condition whereby the patella tendon insertion on the tibia pulls at an epiphyseal plate (the bit where the bone grows) leading to a sticky-out bit on the tibia (a “bony prominence”). I could be wrong though!
