• Question: What is it like to study diseases and damage?

      It’s amazing. I’m constantly blown away by how complicated the body is and how little is actually goes wrong because it’s so well designed.

      When it does go wrong though if *really* affects people’s lives and I am really motivated by knowing that my research might help those people in some small way. Also, it helps that I have dodgy knees and the work I’m doing might help fix them one day!
