When you fall over, the kinetic energy that you possessed is lost as heat energy on the floor. If you land heavily, then the friction between you and the floor could damage your skin (a graze), or the energy could act on your ligaments, tendons and bones causing them to fail (ouch!). Ultimately, your fall will warm up the ground you fall on to, and that is where the energy goes!
