      Hi,
My job is so great in a way because I don’t have any one routine. But I would say that I spend about 10 hours a week writing – either articles for other people (like this one about exercise addiction http://www.yourdocmedical.co.uk/exercise/243) or in my blog (like this article about coping with failure http://startingnow.squarespace.com/blog/2011/2/5/why-we-should-embrace-failure.html).

I spend another 10-15 hours a week working one on one or in groups, helping people improve their performance using psychological skills (teaching them focus, relaxation, goal-setting, motivation, confidence, coping with anger etc).

Then the rest of my time I may be working on some research projects, and I also have to spend quite a bit of time meeting people to tell them about sport psychology, this helps me promote psychology and hopefully get some more work too.

I have to do lots of paperwork as well!
