• Question: how does a animal recover from abrocken limb in the wild ?

      I am not sure they do recover that often. Injured animals are usually left behind by their pack or herd, as otherwise they would hold them back and be a target for prey. Prey are always able to identify the weaker members of a herd (the young, old or injured).

      Sometimes an animal gets the chance to hide out and perhaps heal a bit, but if they can’t move they can’t feed themselves, so the chances are they won’t survive long with a broken limb.
