• Question: Hi Mark, You said that you can present your data in a different level. My Questions is... Describe how you present your email? Why were you interested in'i'm a scientist.' Do you have a second idea or a back up of your first idea with making the app?

My email is usually presented: Hi [person the email is to], [main body talking about stuff]. Cheers/Regards/Best wishes/sincerely (depending on the person it is sent to), Mark. – I hope that’s what you meant 🙂

I was interested in “I’m a Scientist” because I don’t know of a scientist who DOESN’T want to talk to people about what they do, but we very rarely get a chance to do it in a way that is fair to us (you’ve probably seen scientists described as “boffins” in the newspapers or on TV, but we are normal people just like everyone else). “I’m a Scientist” is the best “public engagement” event in the world, bar none. It’s been a privilege to be part of it.

I don’t have a second idea for the mobile phone app. Apps are flexible enough to offer their own “plan b” if my first idea doesn’t work.
